Connor's Story

“Once I got Juvenile Diabetes, my whole life changed. I now realize how lucky I was before I got Juvenile Diabetes, how easy life was. I also realize how lucky I am--there are many children out there with worse diseases than mine. Sometimes when I’m in church, I thank God for giving me diabetes because it has made me thankful for all the great things that I have in my life.

We need to find a cure because people shouldn’t have to go through what I go through each day. Pitch for a Cure can help us find a cure for this horrible disease and help other kids with Juvenile Diabetes.”

Rob Dromerhauser

Rob is President of R&D Consulting, Inc.

He was originally drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 1985. In 1987, he became the bullpen catcher/coach for the New York Mets. Rob was a member of the 1988 Division Champion winning team and caught 7 Cy Young Award Pitchers during his career.

Rob lives in New York with his wife, Mary, their children Kaitlin, Bryan and Connor.
